Why Research to Publication?
Despite the presence of highly capable clinicians and researchers in India, there remains a significant gap in structured training, mentorship, and practical guidance required to translate research ideas into high-quality publications. Many early-career professionals struggle with research design, scientific writing, and navigating the publication process, often relying on fragmented or unreliable resources.
This course addresses these challenges through a comprehensive and structured approach. Participants gain access to BMJ's globally recognized Research to Publication (RTOP) e-learning modules, co-developed with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), covering key areas such as research design, ethics, and scientific publishing aligned to global publication standards. This is complemented by workshops led by APAR and Amrita faculty, providing contextualized, hands-on guidance to help learners apply concepts to their own research.
In addition, the program offers guided workshops on manuscript development, journal selection, and responding to peer review, along with opportunities to engage directly with BMJ editors. With access to a peer-learning network, strategic publication support, and a jointly awarded certification from BMJ, APAR, and Amrita, the course is designed to bridge the gap between research efforts and successful, high-impact publication outcomes.
